Cornelia only takes on a limited number of commissions each month - so be sure to get in quick!
Note that I don’t draw commercial properties, building interiors, cars, people, or pets, sorry.
The house portraits are drawn by hand, using waterproof ink, on 300gsm acid-free Hahnemühle watercolour paper. I then add loose watercolour strokes, using high quality watercolour paint. Loose watercolours refers to a painting style that’s all about freedom of brushwork and limited detail: it’s about capturing the essence of a home, rather than creating a photographic likeness. The goal is to create a feeling or mood rather than perfect realism - an approach that goes well with my doodle-style ink sketches.
During the checkout process, you will be asked to provide the information I need for your house portrait.
Afterwards, you will need to email me photos of the house: please refer to my handy guide, ‘How to photograph your house’ that explains what I need.
Once I have received these items, I’ll confirm your order. Once your order is confirmed, the turnaround time is currently 3 weeks (excluding shipping).
If you have any questions, please read the Frequently Asked Questions about house portraits. And if your answer isn’t there, feel free to contact me.
